It was no surprise to those closest to singer and songwriter Jamie Derek Moore, to hear that he had won the award for adult contemporary artist of the year at the 2015, and 2016 Album of the Year at the Niagara Music Awards for his original music. As for the talented yet modest musician himself, Jamie was ecstatic and eager to continue making music now more then ever.
In early March 2017, Jamie decided he was ready to bring his music to the next level and began looking for other musicians to help him do just that. Not long after the search began, two out of three spots were filled by Chris Boboros(drummer) and Doug Dyck(bass player). Two extremely talented musicians, who like Jamie, had spent a large part of there lives pursuing their passion for music. In late May, thanks to the power of social media, Jamie was contacted by David Scott, a talented guitar player who would later become the 4th and final member of the Jay Diem Band. The Jay Diem Band has played live at such events as RBX Radio, Country 89.1FM, SPRINGLICIOUS, Cogeco TV, and the Grape & Wine Parade to name a few.
