Puppet Show Performance(s):

11:00 am

The Lend A Hand Puppeteers will present “PUPPETSTOCK” , a spoof on  “Woodstock” as the puppets showcase the inner workings of producing a music festival!     Our cast of characters will bring music, love, and a whole lot of mayhem to the stage.   Sure, to be enjoyed by little and BIG kids alike!

Repeat Performance:  1:15 pm

Puppet Building Workshop:

11:30 – 1:00 pm

The Lend A Hand Volunteers will work the attending children to complete a Sock Puppet.  A base sock will be provided and participants will add facial features to create their own individual take-home puppets with a working mouth piece.

A new initiative to Niagara in April of 2017, Heartland Forest’s Lend a Hand Puppet Project has grown into a dedicated group of talented volunteers that build/sew the puppets, create and develop the characters, write the skits, and bring the puppets to life through performance.

Ranging in age from 13 to 75+, our aim is to bring smiles to the young, and the young-at-heart, through family friendly puppet shows. Thus, we have found that this project has discovered talents, created friendships, and brought joy to all of us as well!
Many thanks to the staff at Heartland Forest for their continued support of this project.
We hope you enjoy the show!
